How to buy KIBSHI

KIBSHI is the first ever AI generated cryptocurrency. It was created on December 8 2022, shortly after the release of ChatGPT on November 30 2022. ChatGPT was the first widely available powerful AI that started the modern AI era and KIBSHI is the first crypto coin ever generated by this new AI technology.

In the original prompt, AI was asked to create a meme coin that is a child of DOGE and SHIB. It answered with a fully structured idea for the coin and named it KiboShib with ticker KIBSHI.

#1. I am new to crypto

If you are new to crypto, the simplest way to get KIBSHI is to use a beginner friendly wallet that lets you buy directly with a card inside the app. The easiest options are MetaMask Wallet, Trust Wallet and Wigwam Wallet.


Fastest path for beginners

  1. Download MetaMask Wallet, Trust Wallet or Wigwam Wallet from the official app store.
  2. Open the wallet and create a new wallet. Save your recovery phrase somewhere safe.
  3. Search for KIBSHI or paste the Ethereum contract address.
  4. Use the built in Buy feature to purchase KIBSHI with a credit card, debit card, Apple Pay or Google Pay.

#2. Buy KIBSHI on MEXC exchange

KIBSHI is listed on the centralized exchange MEXC. If you already have or are willing to create an account there, this is a simple option.

  1. Create or log in to your MEXC account.
  2. Deposit USDT or another supported asset and convert it to USDT if needed.
  3. In the search bar, type KIBSHI and open the KIBSHI/USDT trading pair.
  4. Place a buy order for KIBSHI using USDT.
  5. Optionally, withdraw KIBSHI to your own web3 wallet for self custody.

#3. Buy KIBSHI using Binance exchange

If you already have a Binance account with a balance, you can buy KIBSHI onchain using the built in Binance Web3 Wallet feature.

#4. Buy KIBSHI using Coinbase

If you have a Coinbase account, there are two main ways to buy KIBSHI, especially on the Base network which Coinbase supports closely.


Option 1. Use Coinbase with DEX Assets on Base

  1. Open your Coinbase account.
  2. Look for the DEX Assets or similar section that gives access to Base chain tokens.
  3. Search for KIBSHI and follow the instructions to swap into KIBSHI on Base.

Option 2. Use BaseApp (former Coinbase Wallet)

  1. Download the BaseApp (formerly Coinbase Wallet) from the official app store.
  2. Connect or deposit funds from your main Coinbase account into the wallet.
  3. Inside the wallet, open the swap.
  4. Search for KIBSHI or paste the contract address and swap into KIBSHI.

#5. Buy KIBSHI using other exchanges

If you have an account on other exchanges such as Bybit, OKX, Kraken, KuCoin, Gate.io, Bitget, Bitfinex, Upbit, or others, the process is similar. First, you use the exchange to get ETH or SOL, then you withdraw to a web3 wallet and buy KIBSHI from there.

#6. Buy KIBSHI with Web3 Crypto Wallet

If you already use a web3 crypto wallet, you can buy KIBSHI directly from it. This works with most popular wallets such as Metamask, Rabby Wallet, Phantom, Trust Wallet, OKX Web3 Wallet, Coinbase Wallet, and others.


Step 1. Install and secure your wallet

Make sure you are using an official wallet app or browser extension. Write down your recovery phrase and keep it offline and private.


Step 2. Add funds or buy crypto

  • For Ethereum KIBSHI, you need ETH. (Recommended)
  • For Solana KIBSHI, you need SOL.
  • For Base KIBSHI, you also need ETH on the Base network.

Step 4. Swap to KIBSHI

Swap ETH to KIBSHI directly inside wallets like Metamask, Trust Wallet, OKX Web3 Wallet, and Coinbase Wallet.



#7. Buy KIBSHI on Uniswap

Uniswap is the main decentralized exchange on Ethereum. If you already have a web3 wallet with ETH on Ethereum, you can buy KIBSHI directly there.

  1. Open the official Uniswap app site and connect your web3 wallet (Metamask, Rabby, Trust Wallet, Coinbase Wallet, and others).
  2. Select ETH as the token you want to swap from.
  3. In the token search box, type KIBSHI or paste the Ethereum contract address

  4. Set the amount of ETH you want to swap and confirm the transaction in your wallet.
